Personally, I would give the edge to your friend... here's my take on it by position.
QB - Rodgers > Cutler. While Cutler has some upside... I think his situation actually got worse in Chicago with the weather, the running type of team without a reliable receiver outside of second year TE Olsen. Rodgers on the other hand is top-5 talent to me. With Jennings leading the way and Lee, Nelson, and Driver all being pretty reliable I definitely give Rodgers the lead here.
RB - He has MJD, Portis, LJ, AND Lynch. That's pretty stout. Not to mention the high upside on Sproles and Hightower if they can take advantage of their opportunity. I like Ward, Gore, and Chris Johnson on your team too but I give the edge to him because I really like the potential for him to have 3 top 10-top 12 guys by playoff time.
WR - It's a little tighter here at WR... but I give the edge to him because of the presence of Jennings. He;s a legitimate top-5 WR with a consistent QB, while Bowe is now the only option in KC with a first time, beginning of the year starting QB. I like Berrian's upside if and when Favre signs in Minny and Roy's upside is pretty good too in Dallas. But I think the rest of the bench's WRs about even out...
TE - I think Boss and Keller about even each other out. Keller has shown, with consistent WR presence that he can become a threat, but with Plax gone I think itll open up opportunites for Boss to get some red zone targets. Push here.
Then I really don't "judge" D/ST and K this early in the season but they look to even each other out as well. Overall not that far off, but with his studs at QB and WR, along with that DEEP RB core he's gonna be tough for your team to beat without some stud power at WR and QB.
