We start 2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, WR/TE, WR/RB, TE, K, DEF. 7 Bench players. All TDs= 6, Turnovers= -2, 40 yards pass= 1, 10 yards rush/rec= 1, Reception= 0.25 or 4 Receptions= 1. Head to Head League, 8 Teams. 3 point bonues at 350 yards passing, and 125 yards rush/rec. We can keep 7 players from any position, but 1 is a "developmental" player with 2 years or less NFL experience. This is not a problem as I have Forte and Johnson as probablt keepers. I pick 6th this year in a snake draft. I'm thinking keeping 4 RBs and 3 WRs and grabbing my QBs at 1(6) and 2(11) or BPA. What do you think?
My roster from LY:
Marion Barber (Dal - RB) Bernard Berrian (Min - WR) Anquan Boldin (Ari - WR) Steve Breaston (Ari - WR) Matt Forte (Chi - RB) Greg Jennings (GB - WR) Chris Johnson (Ten - RB) Brandon Marshall (Den - WR) Donovan McNabb (Phi - QB) Aaron Rodgers (GB - QB) Bo Scaife (Ten - TE) Steve Smith (Car - WR) Tyler Thigpen (KC - QB) Brian Westbrook (Phi - RB)
Leave me a link, I will respond eventually, I will be notified of all replies...........so I'll return the favor at some point.
1. Matt Forte (Chi - RB) 2. Marion Barber (Dal - RB) 3. Greg Jennings (GB - WR) 4. Anquan Boldin (Ari - WR) 5. Brian Westbrook (Phi - RB) 6. Steve Smith (Car - WR)
Developmental: Chris Johnson (Ten - RB)
The incredible upside is that you are absolutely set at RB with 4 legitimate starters and 3 legitimate stud WRs...the downside is that you'll need to hope one of those QBs is still there (preferably Rodgers). Might be worth trying to deal McNabb along with one of your keepers for an upgrade somewhere if you can manage it either at RB or WR and then keeping Rodgers as well. Pretty nice looking group of keeper options you have there...if you're not contending for a championship next year then something is very wrong.

With having to start 2 QBs, I think you absolutely have to make room for Rodgers.
I would try and deal two of your above studs for an upgrade, and to free up a spot for Rodgers.
If you can't make a deal, you have to keep Rodgers... and I hate advising it but I would drop Barber or Jennings to make it happen. I just think you are really stuck behind the 8-ball without keeping a QB... and trading for one during the season will be painful.

I had the best fantasy draft for myself in the past 10 years last year. I got Marshall, CJ, Forte, Rodgers and jennings in that draft. I was 12-2 but finshed 3rd, oh well. I have offered Westbrook up for a trade, I would probably let him go rather cheaply(for some picks) and keep rodgers if someone makes a solid offer. 3 teams have submitted their tentative keepers(due 8/1) and all 3 are keeping 2 QBs, so I think if that trend continues I can stand pat on keeping the WRs and RBs and go after QBs in the first and 2nd, it's risky but I could get at least rodgers or Mcnabb i bet, and get someone like a Schaub, Eli, or Palmer as a #2.

I would think that if even one of the 5 teams in front of you doesn't keep 2 QBs, Rodgers might be the first overall pick.
And how sure are you that you can get an Eli/Palmer/Schaub in the 2nd round? With teams starting 2 QBs, I find it tough to believe that is the case. Then you end up with Jason Campbell/Jamarcus Russell as your backup to McNabb.
I admit it's painful to let go of a stud RB or WR... (and I acknowledge you had a HELL of a draft last year -- nice job!).... but I really think your team is better served by keeping:
Rogers Forte Johnson Boldin Smith
and two of: Jennings Westy Barber.
I would then STILL go QB at 1.6 and take McNabb or whomever is there. Your starting requirements are basically met with studs at all the positions short of TE. Then (like I'm sure you did last year) take the best available player in each round.

Too bad you can't keep 9 or 10!
I agree, I think I have to keep Rodgers and make a WR the odd man out. Jennings is probably him, but I considered Boldin, and I am worried about Smith for some reason. I'll have to see if I get any trade offers on these guys.
