On the fence here....

Postby gibillsfan » Sun Jul 12, 2009 5:09 am

A team in my leauge is offering up A.P. for two tier 1 receivers. I have Calvin Johnson, Greg Jennings and Lee Evans as my starters and am a little bit over loaded on RB's and understaffed on recievers. If I give up two, I'm going to have to pick up one of the wire or the likes. What do you think? Is A.P. worth the trade?

This is also a 12 team pay league starting 1 QB, 2 RB, 3WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST with 6 on the bench.

Hard to say without seeing your whole roster, but I would lean towards not doing it until I have more info.

I agree with both of these points. Especially if you are RB heavy and lean on WRs.

If you are deep at RB and thin at WR, it dosent make much sense to trade 2 young stud Wr's for a RB.

I wouldn't give up Calvin Johnson as part of that deal.

Agreed with above, if you're solid at RB why pick up AP? He's an injury waiting to happen. Trust me, he won't have a long career imo...

I agree. I was leaning towards not doing it but you all helped lock my decision. Thanks.

If you can trade Evans and some other unnamed WR for AP then sure but I wouldn't trade either Calvin or Jennings.

Help me too? viewtopic.php?f=18&t=438362
