That last keeper spot...

Postby EyeintheSkyy » Mon Jul 13, 2009 4:26 pm

I am taking over a team in a keeper league and can keep five from last year.

It is a 10-team league with standard Yahoo scoring except QB TD's are worth 6, not 4 (INT's are still only -1 though). I will have second pick in the draft.

I want to keep M Turner, R White and probably M Colston. I am stuck on the last two choosing between M Schaub, M Ryan, and B Westbrook. I like both of those QB's quite a bit and Westbrook will be 30 when the season starts. But can I really leave him out? And if I keep him, which QB do I give up? I like Schaub more than Ryan, but he is a few years older too.

Right now, I am leaving out Ryan, but I can change my mind.

The league uses 3WR, 2RB and a flex.

Opinions? Thanks!

If you only start 1QB each week, then keep Schaub and Westbrook - but try and pickup McCoy too.

I agree with the above, although, I'm concern with Colston being a keeper. He's high risk and high reward with his injury potential. I would draft a strong 3rd WR. Westbrook, you know will miss a couple of games as well. But Turner and Westbrook as your 1-2 punch is pretty lethal wek in week out.
