keeper advice...

Postby vinxavi » Tue Jul 14, 2009 7:43 am

I have two keepers, the first is a no-brainer... Chris Johnson (11th round), but who else do I keep? Steve Slaton (10th round), Kevin Smith (7th round) or Jay Cutler (12 round)? I'm leaning towards Slaton right now. It would have been Cutler if he stayed in Denver, but the lack of offensive in Chicago doesn't make him worth it.

This one is easy for me, keep Chris Johnson and Slaton. They are both great value.

Yes Johnson and Slaton are the clear choices here. Nice start to your team as you have all your high picks available to you.

Obviously Slaton. You can pick up Cutler in your draft if you like him.

Nice job adding two great sleepers in your draft last year in the 10th and 11th rounds. Be honest -- were you really high on Johnson & Slaton or did you just get lucky?

CJ was acquired in a trade during week 4 for Calvin Johnson, who was my 4th round pick. Slaton was a FA pick up somewhere during week 2/3.

Slaton....you get great value for that keeper. He's young and should do even better this year.
