6 Point TD Pass League

Postby Morgan » Tue Jul 14, 2009 11:17 am

I have the #1 pick and my league refuses to reduce TD passes to 4 points, so I think its too much of an advantage not to take Brees or Brady at #1......any thoughts?

how many people in the league? id be hard pressed, even in a 6 pt passing league, to take Brees or Brady over ADP/Turner/MJD. The production dropoff from brees/brady to someone like aaron rodgers isn't going to be drastic enough to justify the hit you'll take in missing a stud rusher. assuming its a snake draft, you won't be picking again until #20-24.

There is no reason to take a QB #1. Like lugmetric said, you will be able to land a Qb like Rodgers later who will produce just fine for you. I guarantee that you will not be able to find a Rb who will match MJD's or Peterson's production in the 2nd or 3rd round.

No way to you take a QB over the top 8 RB's IMO. I play in 6point TD leagues and its the same story every year. Top RB's go, hand full of WR"s and Brees Brady Manning...

Take AP and you will still get a top QB in the 2nd or 3rd round no questions asked. You can land a #1 RB with a top 5QB and top WR with the 1st 3 picks. I personally would go RB RB WR. I would hope more QB's and WR's go that way another stud RB falls to you and you pair him with AP. That would be killer.
