I'm not high on Steve Slaton here as I don't think he'll ever be a featured back in the NFL. Most would probably put MJD on the top but he still hasn't proven he can handle the full load. If he can and does then he would be on the top, but I manage my drafts for risk.

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time."
MJD - Big hype now that he is the "lone" RB. Turner - Fresh legs and no competition for carries DeAngelo - Best RB in Caroina for 3 years. Finally got his shot & dominated. CJ - Fastest player in NFL, but loses goal line carries to LenDale. Slaton - I can't help but think 2008 was a fluke. Portis - More mileage than the governor of South Carolina.
the situation Im in is trying to decide if I should spend the big bucks to grap one of the stud backs, or let the other teams break the bank and go for more middle of the pack guys and spread value throughout the team. This is being done via auction starting alphabetically, right now we are on Js. Its an IDP league in the first year with 22 starting positions. 100mil salary cap. For example, Matt Forte went for 13.5mil, frank gore went for 11mil, chris johnson went for 10.2mil, steven jackson is at 13.2mil, Jones-Drew is currently at 14.2mil.
So its becoming clear if I want any RB in the top 10 Im gonna have to pay double digits and if I want a top5 guy Im gonna have to pay 13-15mil. We start 3 RBs. So is the huge cap hit worth it for one stud and then probably some lesser quality and questionable production afterwards? Or should I get 3 middle of the pack guys and spread the extra funds around the LB core and WRs?
