Hey fellas, 12 team keeper league, keep 3 players the rest go into the pool each yr for the draft. 6 pts TD for WR/RB/TE, 4 pts for QB pass TDs. PPR league as well .5 pts for RB, .75 for WR, 1 pt for TE. I have pick 1 in the draft and pick 11 in the 1st so far- Team- gotta keep 3, possible keepers are-
Brady, R Bush, Chris Johnson, Pierre Thomas, Mendehall, Maroney, Hightower, McGahee. The rest isnt even worth mentioning.
Also, whats your thoughts on Mendenhall and Maroney as long term keepers. And with my 1st pick in the draft im thinkin Larry Johnson (dont know why the owner is dropping him) Jonathan Stewart, Beanie Wells, Moreno or Fitzgerald.
I would keep Brady, Johnson, and Pierre or Mendenahall.
PPR should be the same for all positions. It doesn't make any sense to do it that way.
Mendenhall may have big long term keeper value. Parker won't last too much longer.
Maroney has no value now or as a keeper.
The other owner is probably dropping Larry Johnson because he is old, washed-up, it's not 2005, and he has zero future value in a keeper league. You can do much better than him with the first pick.
From the possibles you listed, I'd likely take Fitz with the 1st pick.
Fitz is your first round pick from who you listed.
Mendy and Maroney shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath. Mendy is a solid candidiate to surpass FWP at some point this year. Maroney has had several chances to surpass less talented backs and could not. HE has 1 shot left but I just don't think he can do it. Don't touch him until late rounds... 12th+
I would keep Brady, Johnson and Thomas. Why? with those three, you have the best QB in the league, a solid RB1 and solid RB2, and will pick up the best WR in the league in Fitzgerald. I can not believe somebody is going to neither keep nor deal Fitz, especially in a PPR league. Who did they keep, two early first round RBs and AJ? I would have to think they could get a first round pick for a top 10 overall player.... are they ignorant? If a team had three studs and then Fitz, I'd probably shoot them an offer for him just to see if I could get him for reasonably cheap, if my keepable players were average.
If you can pick up an unkept WR1/high end WR2 with that 11th pick, or one of the two rookies, or a Lynch-type RB and they pan out, I REALLY like this team.
I woulnd't bother keeping anybody else. Try to pick up Mendenhall in the middle rounds as an RB3/RB4, and I like picking up Maroney on a late round flyer. Mendenhall could be the DWill of a few years ago, supposed to take over, but unable to take the reigns from an even more talented player than Foster. Maroney will more than likely be Maroney, take him as your fifth but be ready to hit the WW at some point for a replacement backup.
Thanks to eagles21 for the awesome sig

Thank you gentlemen. To answer your question Benb18a, the guy who is dropping Fitz has- Ronnie Brown, Deangelo Williams and McFadden. He drafted McFadden last yr and feels he has to keep him. I know alot of you guys dont like Reggie Bush but in my league before he got hurt he was top 15 in pts because of the rec. I forgot to mention we start qb, rb rb flex(rb wr or te) wr wr te k def so keeping 3 RBs is usually the norm. But who would drop Brady over Pierre, bush or mendenhall!!!
So, lets say im in a rebuilding phase and can keep 3 RBs or any combo of the above players who would you recomend??
Bush, Pierre, Chris Johnson, Mendenhall, Hightower, Brady.
