RB Keeper Question. WHIR!

Postby ollie7585 » Mon Jul 20, 2009 11:49 am

I'm in a 12 team, 4 keeper league. Non-PPR, 10yds=pt, td=6pts

QB, 2RB, 3WR... play each week

I have Fitz and Roddy White which I consider definite keepers.

For RB, I have Westbrook, Ronnie Brown, and Pierre Thomas. I need to pick two of these guys.

I'm pretty set on keeping Brown, but Westbrook/Thomas has me torn. I think Thomas is in a great position, but if Westbrook is healthy, he could easily be a top-5 back. HELP!

How long can you keep them? If it is a single year maybe Westy. He is a machine and puts up huge numbers. BUT will miss games. They do have a rookie with talent now which I think helps him.

I'm big on P.Thomas this year and see him as major threat. BUT they have R.Bush so who knows what really will go down. If this is a long term keeper I go with Thomas.

I can keep players as long as I'd like. Next year we bump to 10 keepers if that has any effect on strategy.

if you can keep guys as long as you like with no penalty, then its gotta be thomas.he's got several good years left, while westbrook is probably entering his last year of potential RB1 output. just don't expect thomas to be anything more than a safe RB2.

Tough choice but I'd probably go with Thomas here. Westy really started to unravel last year and I don't think it will get any better for him.
