Fitz's ADP?

Postby breezyb » Tue Jul 21, 2009 1:51 am

At fantasy football calculator http://fantasyfootballcalculator.com/adp.php they have the adp's for 1300 + mock drafts for 12 team leagues. They have Fitz at 6....I can't see myself drafting him that high. So what is the most you all will reach for him...and what is the longest you will let him slide? Assuming Fitz is your projected #1 wr this yr.

I have Moss at #1.

I assume you are talking a non PPR redraft league. I would not take him in the first round of a 12 teamer. I may take him at 13 but that would be the earliest for a Non PPR league.

His ADP on Caluclator is stupid but same with Brady last year.

I think it all depends on your league scoring. If it is a ppr league then it will make the wr's more valuable. With the top rb and wr the top few are always interchangeable, so Moss, Fitz, AJ or Moss could all be #1 at years end, so then it all comes down to who do you like the best. Personally I think Fitz is really coming into his prime, plays in a weak NFC west and are in a pass happy offense and he should have another quality year. I do think he value is sky high after his playoff run last year, but think he will continue that and have a dominant year. I can also see Moss having another monster year now that Brady is back. With those two I would look to draft them late first mid second round.

Fitz's ADP being #6 is stupid. I actually think that Fitz could be the #3 WR this year behind Moss and AJ, there is no way that he should be going mid first round. Hell, he could be outscored by Boldin if he stays healthy. If you are picking in the top 7, you need to take a Rb. True stud #1 Rb's that are not in RBBC are very hard to come by. WR's that put up great numbers are a lot easier to find later in the draft. You are not getting a AP, MJD, Forte, Turner, S JAX, LT, Gore type Rb in the mid 2nd and 3rd round. But there are WR's like Boldin, Bowe, Marshall, Housh, Roddy White that could easily have 90 receptions and double digit Td's.
