Dynasty trade, Help appreciated...

Postby irish158 » Tue Jul 21, 2009 4:57 pm

I am looking to make a trade in my 12 team dynasty. I took this team over after last season and I have a lot of work to do on it.
He wants my 1st overall draft pick. It is a 3 rd rookie draft.

He offered me W Parker and his 2.2 and 3.2 draft pick for my 1.1. What do you think of this offer. I am thinking Moreno is going to be my pick at 1.1. I was also looking at either R Grant or/and J Carlson on his team.

My team
QB Rivers, Garcia
RB Westbrook, E James, C Williams
WR Burress, S Moss, Chambers, Bryant Johnson, S McDonald
TE Sheffler, Watson
K Akers, Kaeding
D NYG, Baltimore

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am not new to FFB but I am new to Dynasty FFB.
Thanks guys.

Stay away from FWP. I like the guy but the writing is on the wall that he is not the long term guy in Pitt. I did alot of research into the rookies this year as I play in several dynasty leagues and I badgered the college geeks at the cafe. They do not like this years draft class for RB.

Post up his team and let's see what can be put together. Grant and 2.02 off the top of my head is something I would probably do.

So your saying my 1.1 for his Grant and his 2.2.

Here is his team.
QB Cassel, Hasselbeck
RB Grant, Parker, McGahee, Washington, Maroney,
WR R Moss, Ginn Jr, Curtis, Bruce, Branch
TE Clark, Carlson
K Elam
D GB, SF

I don't know about you, but I like Carlson a lot. I have Scheffler and Watson.
Also, there is .5pt/rec. and a R/W flex.
QB 2RB 3WR 1R/W TE K D

Thanks for wanting to help, I appreciate it.

I don't trust Moreno or Wells as NFL caliber RB's. If you can do 1.01 and Watson or Scheffler for Grant and Carlson, I would do it.

He has countered me with Addai and his 1.8 for my 1.1.
Any input is helpful. I am not sure on Addai. Thanks

I'd pass on Addai,I think Brown gets at least a 50/50 share and takes over sometime this year

Truthfully I think you should try to drop back a few spots and get another rookie rb while trying to acquire something small on top of that. You could use Crabtree or Moreno on your team, I don't think you have the easiest rebuilding job out there. I personally like Moreno as an NFL back but the Denver backfield is extremely crowded at the moment
