"The man who accused former Colts receiver Marvin Harrison of shooting him in Philadelphia last year was shot seven times Tuesday afternoon and is currently in critical condition.
It was a big story in May of last year, but Harrison was never charged with a crime. The latest shooting of Dwight Dixon, 33, occurred as he was leaving a Chinese food restaurant. Police are aware of no suspects or motive."
Wow. And up until last year, he was viewed as a class act. He's just an introverted thug, it looks like. At least he chose to get mixed up in this stuff after his career is just about over.

Huh. The shooting in this new post has nothing to do with Harrison other than the shootee was previously involved, and the second post insinuates Harrison is a thug because of it

Plausible deniability

Not sure what is funny. Harrison was investigated, no charges filed as I recall.
Sorry the guy was shot last year, and sorry he was shot reportedly seven times in this latest report. But to put any of that on Harrison is irresponsible.

Generally the rich and famous have body guards etc. that are paid well and loyal, and do just about anything they are told to do. Then there is the difference between being found guilty as charged, and being guilty in the public's opinion. OJ Simpson is a perfect example of this. My point is, that sometimes things happen that are VERY coincidental, and common sense can give the public an opinion on the matter, but that doesn't mean there is sufficient hard evidence to get a conviction in a criminal trial.
The situation is definitely NOT funny. I just thought it was humorous to say plausible deniability, because I recently saw Independence Day and that was one of the funny scenes from the movie. Plausible deniability literally means, in this context, that Harrison could have very well ordered this guy to be hit, and he would likely never be found guilty of it. I'm just trying to use the thought process of someone whose gun was used in a shooting, who was accused of a serious felony and found not guilty. I'm simply not surprised that this guy was probably murdered; if it would have happened last year it would have been too obvious.
Being an idiot like this is going to give you lots of negative press and lots of negative cred by the public. Look at how the public views Burress after shooting himself in the leg on accident. Most people in this country would kill(not literally ) to have that much talent in a sport that can make you millions and allow you to retire at 35. To risk it all by being involved in highly suspicious acts, even if found technically not guilty, is not going to endear you to the public.

So your comments are based on a belief that Harrison orderd a hit on this guy based on your viewing of Independence Day, and then you go on to say "Being an idiot like this is going to give you lots of negative press and lots of negative cred by the public. " when the 'like this' has no relation to Harrison whatsoever, other than you tried to tie the news item last summer with the recent news item?
Harrison admitted to getting into a fist fight with the guy that night. Harrison's gun was used in the shooting. When police came to his garage, Harrison hid the gun in a bucket, and claimed it was at his home.
Yep, he obviously had nothing to do with it.
How, exactly, is Marvin Harrison not sitting in prison right now?

Do with it... a shooting last summer.
what does this have to do with anything regarding the recent shooting?
