Like the title says, 14 team dynasty league with PPR scoring. I've been offered Anquan Boldin & Chad Ocho Cinco for Randy Moss. I also have Carson Palmer as my QB1 (6 points per pass TD) so I would have the Palmer to Ocho Cinco connection. We start 3 WRs and my current corps is:
WR1- Randy Moss WR2- Antonio Bryant WR3- Michael Crabtree (acquired in deal involving Lee Evans)
I'm not sure the Palmer-Ocho connection is one to target. With Brady back, its hard not to love Moss. Given Boldin's propensity for injury, as well as Warner's, I think I would trust that Crabtree, Bradley, Walker or Hester will put together a decent season and serve as a solid WR3. I would at least wait to make sure everyone makes it out of preseason before making any deals like this.
Do you have a legit shot at winning it this year? If not, I may look to move Moss now as that is a good offer. Now, I also belive Moss will be the #1 WR this year so waiting isn't a bad option either. I firmly believe his value will be higher than it is now during the season.
I'm in a tough spot in terms of contention. I finished 2nd last season thanks largely to Forte, Cassel (since traded), Bryant, and having the highest scoring IDP squad in the league. One of the reasons that I traded for Crabtree were my doubts that I can finish that high again, so I wanted to acquire a nice piece for the future (wasn't very high on Evans anyway).

I would hold off then for now and see how the first 4-6 weeks go. CJ is a tough pill to swallow... yeah, his numbers have been good but when you really look at it, he puts up 5 huge games a year and then the rest is just crap. Boldin I don't get why people are so high on him. HE has never been a top 5 WR, finished 19 twice in thw last 3 years. Moss is 32 and you will need to time this right to get the most value but I believe it to be midseason and only if you want to start to rebuild.
I would make this trade. I agree with bungle that R. Moss will be the #1 WR this year, but in a PPR a healthy Boldin could easily be a top 5 WR. I don't like the fact that you have a rookie WR for your third receiver. Very few WR's make an impact their first year. I would much rather have Carson Palmer's #1 WR than a rookie in my starting lineup. So, basically I think that Boldin/Ocho will easily outscore R.Moss/Crabtree
