Keep Steve Smith or Reggie Wayne?

10 team, three person keeper league, no ppr. My other two keepers are Gore and AJ. I've narrowed it down to Steve Smith or Reggie Wayne. I'm leaning toward Smith but wanted to make sure my Panthers fan bias wasn't getting in the way of my decision making abilities. WHIR as always.

Based on the age of the receiver and the quality of the QB throwing to him I'm not so sure I wouldn't consider Wayne. I'm a Colts homer though, so take it with a grain of salt. Either guy is a quality player and you will probably do okay with him.

I would keep Wayne. I just don't trust Jake Delhomme and Smith's numbers depend on Delhomme playing well. I have always thought that Smith was a little over rated. If you look at his numbers he has only scored double digit TD's 1 time in his career. Plus, the Panthers going to run the ball a ton this year with those 2 stud's in the backfield. I would much rather have Peyton Mannings #1 target. The Colts had a down year last year and I think a lot of it was from Manning missing training camp. I have a feeling the Colts will be back on track putting up big numbers this year.

I would keep Wayne. I am a Steve Smith fan, I love his game, but I don't care for the guy under center. I just don't think he is reliable enough to draft Smith on a yearly basis. It was hard to watch all the underthrown balls Smith had to come back for last year and how many times he didn't make it into the end zone because of it.

Wayne offers better consistency and can still land in the top 5 on a good year.
