Sleepers & Roster Input

Postby recmccl » Thu Jul 23, 2009 5:36 pm

I was wondering if anyone could take a look at the FAs in my yahoo leagues and see if there are any pickups I should make? I think there are slim pickings at this point, but could use a second set of eyes. I am Team X in all 3.

Thanks

First league I would drop your second TE and defense and pick up a couple of RBs. I would add Benson and Donald Brown, but there are several intriguing guys there.

Same thing for the second league, drop the TE. I'm not a fan of carrying two TEs in 10 teamers, theres usually someone you can pick off waivers on your bye week to plug in and usually you are only looking at a few points difference. I'd rather take the chance on a RB that could end up giving you more value.

Drop Scaife and the other D. Grab Donald Brown and Fred Jackson. I am grabbing Jackson in a few leagues just because he will start a few games and might end up in a time share with the bonus of being in on third downs. Lynch gets into any legal trouble and you have a legit every down back on a run heavy team.

Matt hit it on the nose, exactly what I would do.

Players I would pick up, whoever you prefer the most...

Donald Brown
Fred Jackson

Really. I am a football fan, but haven't played FFL in 3 or 4 years. My familiarity with the players has changed. The last time I played Edge James and Shaun Alexander were #1 and #2 on most folks cheat sheets. :-)

ESPN was helpful and a couple of my old favorite sites are still free, but some I used to visit for info have changed from free to premium. I am Grateful for the insight.
