Postby javcovelite » Thu Jul 23, 2009 8:16 pm

Hello, I'm drafting in little over an hour, and will post what pick I have in a little bit. 8 team keeper league with 5 keepers for next season. Would with how the settings are going for a top of the line QB be a good idea? Like if I had #1 pick go Brees over ADP? I feel with my first two picks I will at least need 1 QB. When do IDP start going off the board?

The rosters are..

WR-
WR-
TE-

Wow #1 pick and I had no idea, but it isn't a snake draft. O_O.

Go Brees first then 9th pick get a RB? Or get ADP and get a QB with my 9th pick?

I'd take ADP with the 1st pick. You will probably still be able to get Brees, Manning, or Brady with the 9th pick. BTW- If I was picking 8th, I'd have a major problem with it not being a snake draft.

Draft your IDP playes after you draft your team defense and before you draft your kicker. Your players on offense are much more valuable than the IDP's.

People are always drafting the IDP spots too soon. Don't get caught up in the big names on D. Fill your starters and backups on offense first.

Also, if you can draft any position for your IDP's, take as many middle linebackers as possible. They may not get as many sacks or int's as the other positions, but they more than make up for it in number of tackles.

I'm sure that will get changed, though. The fixed order.

I'd still take ADP first. Take a QB/RB or QB/WR combo with the 16th and 17th picks. A top 5 QB should still be available.

stick with peterson, you'll be able to get a solid qb on the way back. RB's like peterson are tough to pass with those settings even with 2 qb's.
