So it's a 12 team 2 qb league and I have pick 6. It will probably go: Brady, Peterson, Brees, Manning, Jones Drew. Remember, 12x2=24 so that means QB's have massive value as they are very scarce.
a) Do I take Forte, then grab a qb in round 2, a WR in rd 3, QB rd 4 and rb or wr rd 5? b) Do I take Fitzgerald and then grab a qb in 2 and rb in 3? c) Do I take Rodgers, then grab a wr or rb?

I can tell you right now McNabb will be gone by the end of round 3 AT THE LATEST. People in this pool go crazy for QB. I have McNabb ranked as QB8 and I think QB 8 will go in the top 36 picks (ie. 3 rounds).
Also, our starting spots are: 2 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR, TE, 2 W/R/T, 4 Bench (although we do draft 10 idp as well) . So in this scenario, we only NEED 2 rb, although I will likely need AT LEAST 1 if not 2 rb for my flex slot and 1 or 2 for my bench.
I would look to see what qb's are available in the 2nd round and if you can get a Warner or Rodgers then go for it but if not don't just take a qb cause you are worried. You'll be gaining an advantage at other positions while people are reaching on McNabb in the 2nd round.
Let them take the Qb's, take Forte with the 6th pick. I would also say that you should take another stud Rb or stud WR with your second round pick. There will be Qb's available in rounds 3-6, but you will have a much harder time finding stud Rb's and WR's. Look for the Qb's that might drop like Palmer, Schaub or Cassell.
In a 12 team league that starts 2 QBs, position scarcity dictates that you have to get at least 1 QB early or you'll end up starting Garrard and Campbell every week. If it were me, I would draft a QB in the first two rounds and secure one of the top-8 QBs. Then take best available player for the rest of the draft.

Ok so lets say one of those guys was available in the 3rd round. I would HAVE to take another qb in the 4th round and with 12 picks between my 3rd (30th) and 4th (43) what would I be left with as my 2nd starting qb? Would you be comfortable starting Cassel and Trent Edwards every week?
my old 2QB league has since disbanded, but i always did very well in that league by letting the QB rush go by me.
i would have friends grabbing people like alex smith in the 3rd round because everyone was in QB panic mode while i stocked up on stud WRs and RBs. most years i would go 6-8 rounds before even looking at the QBs because there was so much skill position talent on the board. i would end up with guys like delhomme and pennington starting for me, which was fine. they would put up their 15-20 points, but then my RBs and WRs would pile it on. i even managed to snag derek anderson in a trade in 2007, and my team really took off.
new QBs are always emerging, and there will be some surprises every year. make sure you stay on top of them, keep a couple of stable pennington-types on your roster, and let your skill position players do all the work. unless you have a shot at an absolute monster stud IE- brady, brees, manning-you're better off taking forte/MJD at #6 since you have to assume that 1-5 will be brady/brees/manning/ap/turner. i'd grab a stud WR next, since you start 4 of them.

this
I have one 12 team league that's 2qb AND a qb/rb/wr/te flex with 6 points all tds so a qb can score more than ADP on most weeks,in this league I always go either rb/qb or qb/rb depending on whos available at my pick. Now granted in that league with the ability to start 3 qbs with that scoring they are even more in demand than yours but I would still agree with Indi get at least 1 stud qb in the 1st two rounds in your league

OK, so now the question becomes: WHO IS CONSIDERED A STUD QB??? Obviously Brady, Brees, Manning but where do you draw the line?
