I can keep only two players in this 16 team league. We eill have 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, k, d, st 10 reyd =1pt, 10 ruyd = 1pt, 20 payd = 1 pt, 6 pts for all td, and 1pt for all receptions
I can choose 2 players from these remaining player: Phillip Rivers, Tony Romo, Kurt Warner, Matt Schaub, Jay Cutler, Frank Gore, Steven Jackson, Darren McFadden, Brian Westbrook, Brandon Jacobs, Pierre Thomas, Clinton Portis, Larry Johnson, Kevin Smith, L.T., Marshawn Lynch, Marion Barber, Terrell Owens, Dwayne Bowe, Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston, Vincent Jackson, Brandon Marshall
I could really use some good advice and opinions. Thanks
I would keep Gore and S JAX. They are both very solid in PPR leagues and they won't be involved in a RBBC this year. They both do have injury risks, but if they stay healthy you have 2 top 10 Rb's on your squad.
I'll agree with NinerFan on half of it. I'd keep SJax for sure. Gore doesn't impress me though. Call it a personal preference or whatever, but I think he's been over rated every single year except for the year he was going in the 5th and 6th round.
Not to mention in a league where you have PPR AND start 3 WR's, which is very common these days, I think you've GOT to keep either Wayne or Colston. There are SO many RB's that you can get in the 5th-7th rounds that will work just fine for a RB#2. WR's are just as valuable in PPR leagues as RB's are. If you don't keep one of those two, you will be disappointed with your WR core, guaranteed. I'd probably keep Wayne.
Ok ..... You both make good points .. Here's the players that have been taken. Are there usually more quality rb than wr to choose from? I'm next to pick my 2 players. Just wanted to make sure I cover all aspects before I pick.. P. Manning W. Welker , A. Boldin, G. Jennings, Matt Ryan , Roddy White, Aaron Rodgers, Steve Slaton, Larry Fitzgerald, Matt Forte, Jones Drew, Chris Johnson, Deangelo Williams, Calvin Johnson, Michael Turner, Randy Moss. thanks again

In my opinion from the drafts I've done, there seems to be a higher quality of RB's left in the mid rounds than WR's. Obviously, you can't expect to be getting a top 12 or even 15 RB according to pre-draft rankings for your second RB if you keep Wayne/Colston. But you WILL have a bunch of guys to pick from to platoon like McFadden, Addai, Lynch, Stewart, Grant, Moreno, Parker, LJ and maybe even someone like a Portis or Barber.
On the flip side, in the same rounds where this quality of RB is being taken, I'm seeing WR options like Holmes, Eddie Royal, Vjax, Housh, TO, Chad OC. You would be taking one of these guys as your #1 WR.
For me, I guess it's just personal preference. I think half the RB's above have enough of a shot to produce as well or better than gore while I don't see a single WR in that same range being able to produce like a Wayne. But like I said, Gore doesn't do anything for me. RB/RB is over valued in a 3 WR PPR league.
