J. Stewart for D. McFadden?

Postby nimzox » Sat Jul 25, 2009 10:20 pm

I'm in a dynasty league and this guy wants to trade Johnathon Stewart for my Darren McFadden. He would also throw in a draft pick as well. (probably not his 1st round pick though...and he doesn't have a 2nd rounder) Would you guys even consider this? Thanks! WHIR

I would deal McFadden for J Stew straight up. The draft pick is an added bonus, make the trade ;-D

The college guru's will tell you it isn't even close and that Stewart is BY FAR the better back. HE is but he is likely 2 years away from flying solo in Carolina. DMac can win the job this year but I doubt he will. I believe Oakland will use a committee in Fargas, DMac and Bush (hopefully) as I think Bush is the best back they have.

I agree with TNF that I would deal him straight in a dynasty but if this guy is willing to pay you for him, you might as well get paid as much as possible. If he has mentioned that he is willing to deal Stewart and more then look at getting maybe his 2nd in 2010 and Stewart or a flier WR or RB that he has on his roster that you like.

I'd do it. McFadden will wear down from all the 8 man fronts with only Zach Miller and Javon Walker as the main weapons in the pass attack.

I'd take Stewart and I wouldn't worry too much, report I saw about his achilles also said he was running sprints at close to 100%

Stewart over McFadden. Anything else (picks or otherwise) is gravy.
