Inherited keeper squad

Postby techman5003 » Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:29 am

I am in a 10 team league (was 12 until this year). The team I inherited is very weak. It is a standard scoring league.
My roster:
Start - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex, 1 K, 1 DEF
QB – Donovan McNabb, Carson Palmer, Aaron Rodgers
RB – Reggie Bush, Tashard Choice, Fred Jackson, Ray Rice, Felix Jones
WR – Marques Colston, Santonio Holmes, Devone Bess, Vincent Jackson
TE - Owen Daniels, Dustin Keller
K - Neil Rackers
DEF - TB, Dolphins

I need to keep one player and it cannot be Reggie Bush (that's OK with me)

I am leaning towards Aaron Rodgers or Marques Colston

What do you think?

You keep Colston and it's not close. Colston is a 2nd/3rd rounder while Rodgers is a 4th at the earliest if someone is reaching for him. You keep Colston and at least have a guy who is a WR1 with potential to be top 5 even if he manages to stay healthy all year. You can get one of the QBs back in the draft easily with just 1 keeper.

Wow, you are right, you did get a bad team, looks like he liked qb's and no other positions. I would say with your roster you are right it comes down to Colston or Rodgers to keep. I would say to keep Colston, Rodgers is good, but you can still get him or any of those other qb's on your roster later in the draft. Good luck.
