Heroes of Newerth (PC)

Not sure if anyone has ever played DotA (Defense of the Ancients, a Warcraft III special map) but it got quite big to the point where thats all anyone used warcraft III for. Well another company has come out with a new game that is in beta called Heroes of Newerth, its more or less the same stand alone dota game with different models and some nice improvements. Just curious if anyone else had tried/want to try/at least know what dota is etc.

hmm interesting, had never heard of that before now... It seems though that heroes of newerth is a bit ahead of the game as it is very polished and I would say about ready to be released... I'll look into demigod though.

Anyway I have an extra beta key if anyone is interested.

demigod came out in April i think...i borrowed it from my brother but havent really had time to play it...i never played the DotA map either though, so i cant really say how it compares

i did a google search with both games and it looked like there is a 3rd game as well

i have a 2 week old copy of Spore: Galactic Adventures that i havent even opened yet, if that gives you any indication of how much time i have to play video games
