2nd team ever how did i do

Postby scalawag » Wed Jul 29, 2009 8:19 am

last year i had the second pick and ended up winning the league, this year i had 5th pick but, i feel like my team doesnt have the superstars who may go off and get 25 points in a game sometimes. here it is, how did i do?

QB - PHILLIP RIVERS, -------------MATT HASSELBECK
WR- T.O.--------------------------- DESEAN JACKSON
WR- HOUSHMENZADEH----------- LAVERNOUS COLES
WR- BRAYLON EDWARDS--------- PERCY HARVIN
RB - BRANDON JACOBS ----------- WILLIE PARKER
RB - STEVEN JACKSON ------------ DERRICK WARD
TE - JASON WITTEN --------------
K - PHIL DAWSON ----------------
DEF - SAN DIEGO -----------------

This is a 10 person standard scoring league except passing touchdowns are 5 points rather than 4.

Not bad but not entirely eye popping for a ten man league. You have two brusing backs that need to stay healthy for you...if they can then the foundation of SJAX, Jacobs, Witten and Hasselbeck is pretty solid. Yes I'm putting Hasselbeck ahead of Rivers this year. You're recievers are good target players but it looks as though you chose TO to be your stud....that might be a big gamble this year. Braylon needs to show that he can rebound and Jackson is on a team that spreads the ball around. The great thing about your WR core is you have tremendous depth. Fast Willie is a question mark but still a starter and I'm not entirely sold on Ward being the true #1 in Tampa as of yet. Check out who has Mendenhall or McCoy in your league..

You got a good team...good luck ;-D

Nice Draft. I think you will be well pleased with Derrick Ward as your #3 RB. He will probably rank RB2 for you at year end(just an educated hunch I have). Have fun and good luck.

If you have the chance, please comment on the Warpigs Dynasty league teams.
