Hi all,

Im in a 12 team leauge, H2H, 6pt all TD, performance league. We keep 8 players.

I need to know who the best option for a #3 RB is between:

Thomas Jones
Cedric Benson
Ernest Graham

Being a keeper im leaning to Benson even tho that o-line is shambles. I fear Jones will drop off SIGNIFICANTLY with Washington earning more touches, and Shon Greene in the mix to eventually replace Jones. I hear a lot about Graham still seeing significant time in Tampa even with Ward present, but now Cadillac may be in the mix too. Any help is much appreciated.

Graham is out of the question, so it comes down to Benson and T. Jones. I would personally keep Jones. I think the Jets are going to be like the Ravens last year, play good defense, run the ball and protect the rookie QB. Even with the addition of S. Greene, there should be enough carries to go around. The Bengals O-line is not the strongest, plus Benson goes up against the Ravens and Steelers 4 times a year. Nobody runs on Pitt and Balt.

Thanks! I was thinking about the schedule.....Benson does run against 2 crazy run D's.....my thinking was that he is really the only rock carrier in Cincy. I was wondering if that was enough to bump him past Jones. I agree with your thinking on the Jets plans this year....they will run, and in fact i see Jones getting close to 1000 yds and 4-5 td's. I just wasnt sure Benson would equal those totals. Thanks for the quick response. I was leaning towards Jones already...just need some assurance. Cheers.

Don't count on Benson getting all the carries in Cincy. They drafted a guy named Bernard Scott who was an absolute stud in college (look up his numbers). He was drafted so low because he had major off the field issues. There is no doubt the guy can play and he could easily snatch carries from Benson this year.
