8 players in the top 35...............

Postby JOBA » Wed Jul 29, 2009 5:26 pm

So, im in a 12 team H2H league. I had a STACKED roster last year, but we can only keep (up to) 3 players from last season. If you choose to keep less than three, you get pick(s) in the expansion draft. Its a PPR league, but pretty standard scoring, bonuses, etc...Also, I will be drafting 9th with serpentine drafting for what its worth. Which three would you keep out of:

-LT
-Westy
-CJ4.24
-Andre Johnson
-Steve Smith
-Boldin
-Warner

Others keepers already announced:
1) - SJ (via trade with team 2) 2 expansion picks
2) - 0 - 4 expansion picks
3) - Slaton, Lynch, Manning - 0 expansion picks
4)- Brady, Adrian Peterson, Brandon Marshall - 0 expansion picks
5) Bobs - not sure
6)my team - goodluck lol
7) - Michael Turner - then not sure
8)- 0 - 3 expansion picks
9) - not sure
10) - DeAngelo Williams, Forte, and Thomas Jones - 0 expansion picks
11) - not sure
12) - Portis, 2 Expansion Picks

I would keep LT, CJ424 and AJ. You might also consider packaging LT or CJ424 with Westy or Boldin/SSmith for a better RB since you will be dropping some of those guys anyway.

Yeah that would be ideal, but our league rules are anyone you trade prior to the draft from teh last roster are automatically ruled one of your three keepers, so thats not really an option.

So you lose keeper spots for trading guys? That's pretty lame.

I agree with the others. CJ4.24, AJ, and LT are clearly your top 3.

I assume this expansion draft takes place before the actual draft to get all teams to 3 players?

If so than you need to keep 3 because you won't be able to draft anyone in the expansion draft better than who you can keep.

I'd also agree keep lt, cj, aj.

And if I understand correctly there's really no reason to trade because traded players can't be kept so attempting to deal away a player or two for just picks in return would be a lost cause.

I wouldn't say it would be terrible. LT, AJ and Warner would be a terrible idea. LT, Westy, and AJ is probably just a bad idea.
