What do I do with my running backs???

Postby whitteoutt » Wed Jul 29, 2009 11:42 pm

2Qb, 3RB, 3WR league

My Running Backs:
Steven Jackson
Steve Slaton
Brian Westbrook
Ronnie Brown
Thomas Jones
Ray Rice
Chester Taylor
Rashard Mendenhall

lol. yes my whole bench is pretty much RB's...

My Wideouts:
Kevin Walter
Vincent Jackson
Antonio Bryant

I like walter and Jackson, but not to fond of Bryant. I know he had a great year last year, but dont see it happening again.

My QB,s:
Tom Brady
Chad Pennigton

Brady was keeper over D. Williams... Kept him on the IR all year.

So I need a number 1 reciever and another decent QB. Anybody have any ideas or thoughts? All input is appreciated.

What do do with your RBs?

I think I'm staring at a whoping 5 starting RB's 8-o of course maybe your a little nervous because of Sjax and Westbrook durability issues...I think you'll be fine. Although grabbing a better #2 RB wouldn't be a bad idea....fast Willie may not stay alive this year giving Mendenhall more touches..but it's still unclear at this point how Pit will work him in. Take a look at McCoy for Philly...I believe he'll be key around play off time. Your WR...meh. I think your dead on with Bryant...I have no idea who's going to throw him the ball this year. Walter is going to have another good year and Vjax isn't bad....I wouldn't consider him my stud #1 WR. You may be able to grab a Devin Hester or Gonzo without giving up very much. You know someone in your league is hurting for RB's since you have so many..you should be able to swing a low #1 WR or a good decent #2 wideout. Who has ADP?...cause you got his backup.. }:-)

good luck ;-D

First off, go hawks! Im going to school in Ellensburg, but originally from Federal Way.

Im deffinetly nervous about westbrook. I actually just proposed a trade:

Give -
Westbrook
Thomas Jones
Bryant

Get-
Andre Johnson (love this guy)

I figure Westbrook will get injured, and thinking that jones/bryant had fluke seasons last year. That will mean I start Ronnie brown and have a true top tier reciever. What do you think about the trade? Think she will accept (shes actually a prof at my school. lol)?

Thanks for taking the time to give me some input.

Whether she accepts or declines it depends on what she has. You are deep enough at RB to make the trade and your team will look a lot better afterwards.

Can you help me out?
