PPR on Yahoo---need clarification

This is my first time in a PPR league and I'm excited, but I can't seem to find clarification----anyone who catches a pass gets a point, right? It's not just for the WR position? TEs get a point also, right?

I just want to make sure. Thanks!

If its a typical ppr than yes wr, te, rb, etc all get point for catching a pass.

RB, WR, or TE catching a pass will receive a point, probably even the QB, too. GL and have fun with PPR. I think it makes for a more interesting league-especially if it is a 12 or more team league.

Just to clarify for the OP, make sure to check the rules. If it's a typical PPR as aaawall said, then everyone will get a point for each catch. But there are many leagues that vary who gets the points and only your rules will tell you that. For example, I've seen PPR leagues where everyone gets 1 point per catch, PPR leagues where everyone but the RBs get 1 point per catch, and my favorite is the advanced PPR where WRs get 1 point per catch, RBs get .5 points per catch, and TEs get 1.5 points per catch.

So the bottom line is that you should go to your rules page and then scoring to double check the rules as knowing the exact scoring is the most important thing in any fantasy league.

in reference to the poster above me, yahoo only allows u to assign a certain point per reception and it counts for all players. u cannot select 0.5 for rb and 1.0 for wr.

Figures. It's the little things like that that makes me not use Yahoo. But I can understand why some people host their leagues there. Thanks for the heads up gmoney.

Thanks guys. I'm the Commish and we've always used Yahoo and no one wants to switch now that they're comfy with it (and especially since StatTracker is now free).

I set it up for PPR to add some spice to the year. Yahoo let me decide how many points per catch (I chose one), but that was all it said so I wasn't sure if everyone got a point or not. Everyone is asking me, and I didn't want to have to wait until Week 1 to see how it got scored.
