Leave my Keepers or add T.O.? Stewart? Romo? WHIR!

This is a keeper league that happens to be TD heavy. All rushing/receiving td's are worth 6 pts with passing td's only being worth 4 pts. We earn 2 bonus pts for every 50 yds rushing/receiving, while Qb's earn bonus pts for hitting the 300 yd/game or 400 yd/game marks (3 pts for 300 yds, 6pts for 400 yds). Another thing to keep in mind is that TE's are NOT required so i like to look at them as the same as the WR position. No picks are forfeited for keepers. So you can see TD's are the best way to rack up pts...my possible keepers are:

LenDale White- he was a monster for me last year and should see the end zone in a run heavy offense again
Roddy White- seems to have lots of upside especially with Tony G attracting defenders
Antonio Gates- the main red zone target on a high powered offense, but how is his toe?
Jay Cutler- i'm a little biased here because i am a bear's fan, but i think lots of QB's will be out there

i know they aren't a sexy list of names but it is 16 teams (everyone keeps 3 players) and i finished 4th last year.

**********another poosibility is to try to get either T.O. (what's life in Buffalo like?), Romo(life without T.O.) or Jonathan Stewart (could someday be the man in Carolina) for maybe a mid-rd. selection (probably a 4th or 5th rounder). However it may be worth mentioning that I don't have a 2nd rd. pick this season. Do you think I should hang onto 3 of the guys I have or add someone, if so who doesn't get kept?......thoughts?*********

leave a link to yours, thanks!

I'd stick with what you have. I'd keep Lendale and hope he can do it again. Keep Roddy White and hope Gonzo and Jenkins will demand respect so Roddy can go 1 on 1. Keep Cutler because you are a Bears fan ;-D but really because in a td heavy league you can get TE's later that will post similarly decent #s but I imagine that in a league with those settings Qbs will be kept more often than in other 1/10yds leagues. If you think Qbs will be out there that have the gunslinger mentality like Cutler then keep Gates.

I hope T.O does well but how focused is he while doing tv shows? Stewart is very good but DeAngelo won't just give up the throne. Romo and Cutler are about a wash imo and i'm a Cowboyz homer. Good Luck with it.

I say keep your picks. I would keep Cutler over Gates though if you do not need TEs.

Many a year I was happy to end up with Gates as my TE where league's required one, and I was never all that excited.

There will always be TEs and WRs out there to fill the spot.

Thanks for the help on mine. I think the trade would be a win for me, but if i make the trade, who would you not keep? - viewtopic.php?t=439113
