Should i be worried about my WR's?

Postby baddhipp2 » Fri Jul 31, 2009 6:47 pm

With the great Qb and Rb's i have in my lineup, shuld i be worried about my WR's ? Or will the rest of my lineup make up for them?

This is a 1ppr, 6 pts for all TD's league.

2 man keeper

This is my lineup we start 1 qb, 2wr's 3rb's , 1te

Qb Brady
RB forte
RB MJD
RB S. Jackson
WR Ward
WR Hester
TE Gates
Def Pitt

I was offered A.Johnson for M. Forte ............. what u think?

I would ask for more if I was trading Forte. Although, I would rather trade Jackson than Forte; but you do need to do something about your WRs. Can you post the other team's lineup so we can suggest possible trade options?

What are your backups???? The trade all depends on who you have at backup wr and rb.

you have 3 of the best PPR backs in the league (and you can start all of them each week), one of the top 2 TEs, plus brady in a 6 point passing TD setup, AND you only start 2 WRs. i actually think you'll be fine. ward will give you a solid performance every week with 80ish yards and maybe a score, and hester could blow up. just keep your eyes on the waiver wire if he doesn't, someone will come along.

this team should be playoff bound as-is. don't panic yet.

Wait, you mentioned two man keeper, have you drafted yet? Do you still need to choose your keepers? If that's the case I would keep MJD and Forte and stay put.

Yes forte and MJd are my 2 keepers.......... I got S.jackson,Brady, gates and Pitt. def by Trades.
My next picks are 4.5 and 4.11..................

This offer is still on the table - pick 1.1 and 3.3 for forte and 4.11..... if i took the deal i would probaly go, Boldin,s.smith,LT2 or slaton.......

If that's the case I would make the trade and secure Boldin in the first round. You will be pretty much set at every position with tier 1 players except for your 3rd RB and you can still find some tier 3 quality in the 2nd rd.

that deal is basically forte for boldin. swapping 3rd and 4th rounders in a 2 man keeper is sort of negligible. this is worse than AJ for forte.

no reason to do it. have some confidence in that roster, it's very good. let the preseason sort itself out, see where things are. you are overthinking this.
