I bombed last year so I have the 1st pick.... I read that Knowshon Moreno is not in camp yet as they have not gotten his contract done yet, this is who I was leaning towards taking but now I am worried. I could sure use the help at RB and I know someone in this draft class will have immediate value.... What do you all think?

when is your draft? i think i would go with moreno, but the longer you can wait the better. if we're a few weeks into camp and he's still holding out, then i would probably go donald brown and then chris wells after that.

Thanks for the reply, draft starts tommorrow, 12 hour clock but yea, looks like Moreno is it...

I think Moreno is the #1 rookie this year. There are many threads in the cafe debating Wells and Moreno.

When two players are pretty close (like Wells and Moreno are) I like to look at the situation, because for rookies, it can mean the world.

Moreno isn't signed and Denver is in complete turmoil.
Wells is signed and Arizona seems to know what they are doing now (thanks to Whisenhunt, Grim, etc)

Rookies who miss part of training camp have a larger chance to struggle than those who are in camp, like Wells is. dynasty or not, often times rookie years define players and if its this close Moreno may be more talented but Wells will be better prepared and ready. And it comes down to how you perform.

Wells is my choice.
