Dynasty Trade - WHIR

Postby FinPerfect72 » Sun Aug 02, 2009 1:46 pm

I have been offered Fitz and Dustin Keller for DeAngelo Williams and Matt Cassel in our Dynasty League. I have Stewart on my team already and I think eventually he will take over as RB. I need WR help bad. My top 3 are Roy Williams, Lee Evans and Robert Royal. I have 4 QBs so I can afford to lose Cassel and my RBs are Ronnie Brown, McFadden (and M. Bush), Benson and Stewart.

I am thinking about taking this trade because I think Fitz could be a top WR for years to come and Williams won't do what he did last year.

Thoughts? WHIR.

i'd pull the trigger. i think stewart and williams are going to get very similar carry totals this year. fitz is going to outproduce your entire WR corps combined.

williams's value will never be higher than it is now. lock down a top3 WR for the next 5 years.

Ask for a draft pick upgrade as well somewhere, I think you can get it from the other owner. I agree DWill is a good sell high prospect this year but it is a RB and QB for a WR and a TE... get a little more.

id definitely pull the trigger on this deal, but i love the idea of trying to snag a draft pick or 2... i wouldn't push the issue to much tho if the other owner doesn't want do it, cuz you are still winning in this deal... nice trade...

I would do this as well for Fitz, and unless you need a TE, I would ask for a draft pick instead, or perhaps he has a potentially good WR on his bench. You upgrade at WR and don't hurt yourself elsewhere. I think you are giving up a slight bit more in the deal, but you are defnitely improving your team!

Try and get that draft pick added into this deal. If not, I would still pull the trigger and do this trade.
A win next week and all is forgotten.
