WHIR 10 team ppr with trade question

Postby Rynoceros » Mon Aug 03, 2009 6:16 am

Keeper league, kept Warner and Slaton.

Scoring differences from normal Yahoo-->
.25 per completion, -.25 per incomplete
.75 PPR (not full point)
Bonuses in play for landmark yard totals (ie 350 pass yds = 5 bonus pts)

QB Kurt Warner

WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh
WR Andre Johnson
WR Randy Moss

RB Darren McFadden
RB Steve Slaton

TE Dallas Clark

WR/RB Dwayne Bowe

BENCH
WR Santana Moss
QB Matt Schaub
WR Ted Ginn Jr.
RB Chester Taylor
RB Knowshon Moreno
RB Cedric Benson

I could probably swing Randy Moss for Marion Barber right now, but not sure I want to. Any opinions?

I like your squad. WRs are extremely solid. I wouldn't trade Moss for Barber. Your RBs can be solid if they pan out. Let's see what McDaniels does in Denver with Moreno and let's see how Benson nd DMC do this year. If they can stay healthy and play most of the time, you will be set.

I agree with the above poster, ur WR are solid and so are your QB's but you have a lot riding on McFadden as your number 2. But i guess thats the price you pay for those WR's

Agree with above posters. Don't do a damn thing. Re-assess your team after week 2 and see how many carries Mcfadden and Moreno get in the early going and if they're not producing, trade a WR. The guys you have will not have lost much, if any value to the league at that point.

Only if you know anything about FAAB's

In PPR leagues you can always make a strong WR team work granted you have great WRs, and you do. You just have to find that breakout RB and you're golden. Moreno could be that guy this year in DEN.

Dont trade Randy Moss. With Tom Brady back I can guarantee you he will have a sick year.

I think you should trade a player or two to get a more solid starting QB as Kurt Warner is getting old but he still does have L. Fitz and Boldin. Good contending team.
