Brady and Moss?

If you have the chance at pick 14 on the turn would you take Brady and Moss or Top WR and top 10 RB. I have not seen it happen very often but if Moss slips to 14 would you take both of them?

I'm thinking of doing that at 12. I like Slaton, but I don't want to spend a first or second round pick on him. VBD says it's not the best thing to do, but I think it's a good way to create a competitive advantage. You might have some bad weeks, but it's not a bad bet to put all your eggs in the Patriots basket.

If I was picking at 14 and the turn, I would go WR/RB. I don't think it's wise to wait a whole 20+ picks to try and land your first RB in round three with 14 teams in the league.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

I would personally jump all over the Moss/Brady combo, if possible. I have been doing some mocks with the 12th pick and have found it almost guaranteed to get the combo. I do it because I just cant seem to convince myself that 07-08 cant happen all over again. They have everything they had 2 years ago, now.. Maybe even a little more with Galloway>Stallworth and Fred Taylor to add a running threat. Sure Taylor could take some carries and yards away from Brady/Moss but ultimately Belichick WILL pass early and often. Their style of play is unmatched when Tom Brady is healthy and "on". And according to everything I have seen this summer, Brady is where he needs to be to put up atleast 35-40 TDs... Granted if he were to do that, it wouldn't be the 50 he had in 07-08 but IMO it's almost guaranteed and a sure bet.

At 14th pick Moss is usually gone but you never know how people are going to pick. 14 is a hard decision but I find myself going RB and WR most of the time but am very interested in the Moss Brady combo pack.
