RB- Adrian Peterson RB- Pierre Thomas WR- Randy Moss WR- Greg Jennings WR- Steve Smith
I have the 2nd overall pick and 6th overall pick (as well as 19 later on). My question is who do i take with these first two picks given its 2 qbs and i am keeping none, but also considering that after this year we are adding a flex and 6th keeper (ie making rbs/wr more important).
The guys of note available are:
Jay Cutler Kevin Smith Antonio Gates Antonio Bryant Matt Schaub Roy Williams Vincent Jackson Tony G Ryan Grant LJ Derrick Ward Rookies ie Beanie and Moreno Cassel Hasslebeck Garrard Orton
1- Knowshon Moreno--- Best talent here. AP, Pierre, and Moreno hard to beat 2- Kevin Smith--- You can't have enough good, young rb's in a keeper 3- Beanie Wells--- Big, strong, fast, tough as a snowflake 4- Matt Schaub--- Gets to throw to Andre on Sundays 5- Jay Cutler--- Better talent than Schaub, but no wr's 6- Ryan Grant--- I'm not convinced he's the "real deal" 7- Derrick Ward--- Should get the bulk of the carries 8- Vincent Jackson--- Youngest of the 3 wr's here 9- Roy Williams--- Can he be a true #1? 10- Antonio Bryant--- I'm better than Josh Freeman 11- Matt Cassel--- Now we find out if it was all Randy and Wes 12- Antonio Gates--- TE has very little positional value 13- Tony Gonzalez--- People forget he averaged 4 td's in the 3 seasons before last year 14- Kyle Oton--- Bad qb with good receivers 15- David Garrard--- Good qb with bad receivers 16- Matt Hasseleck--- Should have 1 or 2 good years with Housh 17- Larry Johnson--- Old and washed-up

Ideally you take a RB and a QB with your first 2 picks: Schaub/Cutler and KSmith/Moreno/Grant. I'd target the QB first since you have none, and the dropoff from Schaub to Cutler to Garrard/Cassel is pretty steep. I see Smith, Moreno, and Grant as being relatively more equal in production. All young and talented and in good situations. Hopefully you snag one of them with the 6th pick.
Most people prefer Schaub to Cutler? and Moreno to Smith?
YES 100%. Since you start 2QB's take one at 6th. I would think to lock up Moreno at #2 if he is there. You have an amazing start with 2stud RB and 3 stud WR's. Thats huge! If you can get Cassel,Cutler,Schaub your golden. So I would take 2 of them with 2 of your 3 picks.
