In a dynasty league. We're in the process of our re-draft and I have a few openings. I could use some solid RB help, and this would be the best chance to do it.
Knowshon Moreno and Chris Wells have been picked and the others I'm looking at are:
LeSean McCoy Shonn Greene Andre Brown Donald Brown Chris Brown
Others in FA: Fred Jackson Correll Buckhalter LaMont Jordan DeShawn Wynn T.J. Duckett
And any other rookie RB you can think of. Only Moreno and Wells are taken. I think I'm leaning towards Donald Brown or McCoy, simply because they'll be in line to takeover for their respective teams, though Fred Jackson is tempting with Lynch suspended to start the season.
So, which is the better pick?
Currently I have Jones-Drew, Portis, Hightower, Torain and Brandon Jackson.
SIDE NOTE: Is Amani Toomer worth holding onto with White/S. Moss/V. Jackson/Colston/Engram as WR already on my team?
Well the two that jump out to me are McCoy, Green and Brown. I like McCoy because he is going into a quality offense, which is filled with some good young wr's, a rebuilt o-line and still has McNabb. I would say in another year or so, when Westy is all done he can step right in and take over. Green has a chance to take over completely next year, this is the last year of T. Jones contract, he can learn the system this year and be the main man next year. Brown is the one that I have questions about. They drafted him #1, still have Addai, can they afford to keep them both, will it be a rbbc, not sure what Indy will do here. So I would rank them for your dynasty league as McCoy, Brown then Green. Good luck.
Thanks for the input. I've got the 10th pick so I'm really just waiting trying to get my picks in line. So far, Moreno, Harvin, Wells, Donald Brown and Pettigrew have all been taken, so I'm hoping McCoy or Greene falls to me at 10. If not, I could also go the route of a rookie WR (Crabtree, Robiskie) or a QB (Stafford, Sanchez). Not that I need to at either position, but if I can't get McCoy or Greene, I don't think I should reach for Jackson or the other Browns...
