New to PPR, Please Rate my Draft...WHIR!

12 team league, standard scoring, 0.5 PPR, 4 pts per 100 rushing yds

VERY strict roster...we HAVE to draft the following:

2 QBs (start 1)
3 RBs (start 2)
4 WRs (start 2)
2 TEs (start 1)
2 DSTs (start 1)
2 Ks (start 1)

Plus we can take one RB/WR/TE as a flex player

I drafted 1st...snake draft:

QB--Cutler, Garrard
RB--AP, MBIII, Reggie Bush
WR--Wayne, Gonzo, Coles, Austin
TE--Gates, Keller
DST--GB, CHI
K--K Brown, Hartley

I'm not crazy about having 2 WRs from the same team, but I felt Gonzo was the best value at that pick. I also thought I'd put Bush in my flex spot.

So what do you think? Please leave a link and I'll return the favor...
Passing TDs = 4
All other TDs = 6
100 yd rushing bonus = 4
PPR
All other basic scoring

VERY strict rosters...MUST have:

2 QBs (start 1)
3 RBs (start 2)
4 WRs (start 2)
2 TEs (start 1)
2 D/STs (start 1)
2 Ks (start 1)
Flex--ANY offensive player

Not bad. Maybe move Barber and Gonzo/Coles/Austin for an upgrade at WR2. I also like Keller this year with a rookie QB in Sanchez. So you can always start him as your flex.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

I agree...the depth at WR is very questionable...im not very high on gonzo in the first place and i think clark will take away alot of his catches...the only receiving duos that i wouldnt mind having are moss/welker....boldin/fitz....i just dont see that being a positive for your team

I would definitely trade barber for a better 1-2 punch at wr....with ap you can afford to have a lesser #2 back....

**i would wait to trade barber until he has a big game when his value is high

thanks man

I play PPR leagues and I'd try to move Wayne and Bush for either a RB1or a top tier WR. Maybe you can get a better WR1 for just Wayne depending upon how others in your league think he'll do this season. Same with Bush.

I like your team alot, but cutler doesnt have many weapons and taking wayne and gonzo was a little odd in my opinion. I love the colts, but I would never draft those two together. Usually, if one WR does well, it takes away targets from the other. However, if one receiver is having a bad day, then more balls will find their way to the other receiver.

Thanks for the help in mine.

Pretty good. Agree with what you said about 2 WR's on the same team.

Don't like Garrard at all, but could fill in for a week I guess

Cutler will struggle this year. Bad WR's, downgraded line, RB to vulture his 600 attempts down to 450, and will throw too many picks for my taste

And you have to love AP and his potential 2000yd season coming up

Help me out?
