We are nearing capacity for a new, 32-team dynasty league where you start with an actual NFL team and players from its roster. Teams currently available are:

Kansas City Chiefs
New York Jets
St. Louis Rams

* AFC and NFC leagues set up at ESPN.com for weekly game play
* 8 offensive starters, 8 defensive starters
* 10 bench slots
* 2 practice squad spots for saving rookie prospects
* 2 IR spots for players injured for an entire season
* You pick what players you want from your NFL team's roster
* Salaries based on actual cap hit of each player for 2009, including rookies
* Salary cap of $85
* Contract lengths of 1-5 years and a yearly cap of 75
* Restricted and unrestricted free agency
* Franchise tag

so what exactly do we manage if we already have all the players?

You manage the team. You have to pick which players you want from whatever NFL team you represent, then you have to assign them a contract length from 1-5 years (their salary is based on their actual salary), keeping within the cap constrictions. You then can trade or waive or claim players, there will be a rookie entry draft in the spring, there will be a period to mange unrestricted free agents following the league championship (those being players on a roster whose contracts have expired), and every week you manage your roster as you compete to win that championship.
