Need a little help at RB. I think you reached way to early for Mcnabb in the fourth.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

It's a 12 team league. DaWinner127, I agree that I reached a bit for McNabb in the 4th. The rason I did was that it was either him or Schaub and with the 10th pick I didn't feel like either would get back to me. I'm not very high on the likes of Cassel who was my only other option as most everyone including Cutler was take. I felt even more strong about it as all TDs are worth 6. I guess I thought I'd get the same production out of him than any other RB left at the time.

RB depth could be an issue, a trade might be possible as the year goes on. Though I think both Stewart and Jones are low-end #2s or high end #3s. I could play mix and match till something better presents itself.

You reached alot for players like McNabb, Housh, Jones, and the SD defense. However, I think that if you see something in a player and you can't imagine letting him slide by you, you should go ahead and draft him early, you made alot of reaches by taking players 2-3 rounds earlier than most other people would. Eventually the reaches hurt you. Your team probably could be better. Sorry.

I agree that the team could be better...

however,

your team symbolizes the risk/reward of FF...

i like andre in round 1 (hes my #1 rated wr)....i think that LT has a chip on his shoulder bc of the fact that he is one of the most emotional players in the nfl and is due for a monster year (esp with a healthy gates spreading the field)...I have Jstew on my team and he had 40 percent of the carries last year so i think hes a great option at rb2....mccoy is a sleeper waiting to be a stud...i think tj was a reach in round 3 and i probably would have gone wr-wr if i were you and got a great 1-2 punch at the pos...anyway, tj is a make or break guy...he will catch 85-90 passes this season but only 6-7 tds IMO...i have watched him as a bengal my whole life (he didnt deserve that $$)...that being said, i think chris henry is in for a heck of a year (min rec but 8-9 tds with a healthy palmer and he has looked great in camp)....te's are shaky but you have an excellent def and kicker (the little things matter in FF)

with your qb's and big names your team has Blockbuster trade written all over it...when certain players (ie mcnabb/andre/lt) i would shop around and make a change...always sell high

Please help me with mine...

Love Andre at 10, good value with LT in the second.

Was TJ really the BPA in the third?? I would think that you could have gotten a Aaron Rodgers, Kevin Smith, or someone better. NOt a BAD pick by no means, but seems like you could have gotten better value.

Also, McNabb in the fourth? I mean did you reach for him over any of the following: Rivers, Cutler, Rodgers, Peyton, Brady, and Brees? If you did this is a terrible pick. Not that McNabb can't produce like them, it's just that these players should have all gone before McNabb and I sincerely think that you reached a round too early for him and that Schaub is equal in talent to him.

Love the LeSean pick.

Help me out?

Seems like McNabb was a reach, but I took him because guys like Brees, Brady, Manning, Rivers, and rodgers were all gone. Cutler was available and I don't remember if Schaub was or not. I'm going to do a mock this morning and work on getting better value for each pick. I'll post it here more feedback is alway wlecome.

Yeah I agree with you on McNabb, I waited to long for a QB and got stuck w/ Cutler. Plus it doesn't help that I am an eagle's fan but I think hes going to have a monster year :) You have a lot of backup RB's w/ potential, probably one will start.

OK, here's the mock i did this morning. 12 team standard scoring and I had the tenth pick again. Paraentheses indicate the round taken.

QB - Matt Schaub (6)

RB - Ryan Grant (3)
Larry Johnson (4)
Thomas Jones (5)
Knowshon Moreno (8)
Fred Taylor (12)

WR - Andre Johnson (1)
Calvin Johnson (2)
Laveranues coles (7)
Ted Ginn Jr. (10)
Josh Morgan (13)

TE - Kevin Boss (9)

DST - Carolina Panthers (11)

K - Nate Keading (14)

Think I waited too long to grab a TE and the Chargers DST went 1 pick before I got them who I was targeting. Week 10 is a boon with 3 players out, but I have significant time to make that up. Please tell me what you thihnk.
