Fitz or DeAngelo in a dynasty (.5 PPR)

Postby ROYALWITCHEESE » Wed Aug 05, 2009 7:32 pm

12 team dynasty .5 PPR, QB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, WR, TE
QBs 1 point/20 yards
RBs/WRs/TEs 1 point 10 yards
all TDs 6

I have the following offer:

His Fitz for my DeAngelo and Gonzales

My Roster:

QB--Brady, Orton, Stafford, Culpepper
RB--AD, DeAngelo, Grant, Stewart, Maroney, CTaylor, BJackson, Faulk, JDavis
WR--RMoss, Roy, 85, Gonzales, Bradley, Rice, MJones
TE--Cooley

His:

QB--Eli, Pennington, Leinhart
RB--Bush, Graham, Greene, Betts, Foster, Cadillac
WR--Fitz, Colston, VJackson, Nelson, Robiskie, Baskett, Barden
TE--Winslow, ASmith

I think I'm primed for a run at the title, but the question is: Does Fitzgerald make team better, or does Williams?

I see him needing this trade more than you. Bush is a question mark and he needs a #1 RB. I would try and get him to throw in Greene (nice dynasty upside) with this trade. If he does, I would do this. If not, I say you stand pat with what you have. Your WRs are pretty good right now, and you have nice depth at RB in case of injury.

I am going to have to disagree with the above post. I like this trade for you.

I think with Moss and Fitz you will see some SICK production from you WR. I think Moss finish as top WR this year, again (JMO).
I also think Grant is going to have a bounce back year and I believe Stewart not Deangelo will be the future in Carolina.

Like the above post said try to get Greene thrown in but if not I still like the trade for you.

I agree with Lightzout 100%. Try for Greene but if he doesn't bite do the trade anyway.

He just drafted Greene in the rookie draft and won't go for it. I'm still mulling over keeping the RB depth I worked so long and hard to get, or having the Moss-Fitz 1-2 punch at WR...

This is no doubt a tuff call.

I think you really need to decide on how big you think Ryan Grant may bounce back this year.

The combo of Moss and Fitz is def going to be one of the best if not the best in your league I would think. If AD produces like he is projected I think you can stand to lose some at RB between Deangelo and grant.

The ONLY reason I like this trade more for you is the fact you have stewart. I think he is the future in Carolina and will prove to be a much better dynasty player than DeAngelo.

Take a night to think about it and make sure its something you want. You can hear all the advice in the world but this is ultimately your team and if you feel comfortable with what you have and thing you are ready for a run then stand pat, but I do believe this trade will help your team. Just my 2 cents :-)

Good luck with everything ;-D

i think in that scoring Fitz will outscore DeAngelo this year, and since you only have to start 1 RB you are better off with Fitz...but i agree i'd try to get him to throw something else in

i think Fitz has better long term potential as well
