How would you draft for this draft?

Postby JoshKnows46 » Thu Aug 06, 2009 8:04 am

we have to draft either 3 rb's or 3 wrs....would the smartest thing be to just draft 3 rb's in the first 3 rounds...and if so, which 3 backs should i target in the first 3 rounds?

I would not take 3 RB's to start the draft. You need balance. The QB scoring is low, so you can wait until the middle rounds for that.

What pick do you have?

You will most likely go RB/WR/RB or RB/RB/WR, if you're daring go RB/WR/WR.

There's a few stud WRs that you definitely want to gran if they are available in the second round. They are Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson. Other WR you want to try and get are Reggie Wayne, Terrell Owens, Greg Jennings, Marques Colston and Anquan Boldin. You'll be able to get at least 1 of them.

Almost every NFL team is moving to the 2 back system, meaning you can grab quality RBs later on in drafts. There's only a handful of backs who don't share.

My advice would be to grab your stud RB, then target 2 high profile WRs. You don't need a QB until round 6-8 given your league scoring.

Target a RB with your first pick, then either target the next best RB or WR worth a second round pick. Don't go into the draft saying you need to go RB/WR/WR, RB/WR/RB or RB/RB/WR. Go in and take the best player with the most value at the second or third pick.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

Where are you picking at? If the beginning I would go rb, wr,wr generally. It all depends who is available and who I think i can target later. I do like taking BPA.

Good luck
Here is a cool game I found.
