Rookie-arama trade offer: Do it or pass? WHIR

Postby FantasySportsMaven » Sat Aug 08, 2009 9:37 am

12 team PPR Dynasty League
Start QB,2RB,3WR,TE,K,D.

Just been offered this trade.
I get Heyward-Bey, Britt, Harvin and his 2010 2nd round draft pick
and
I give him Moreno, Crayton and Curtis.

Here are my current roster RBs and WRs:
RB: Forte, LJ, Moreno, McGahee, Rice, J. Charles, Graham, Bradshaw
WR: Driver, Hester, Bennett, Crayton, Hixon, Clayton(TB), Higgins, Curtis, C. Henry, M. Walker

Should I do this deal as is? Should I counter offer for Moreno? His only other good WRs are Holmes and AGonz.

What would you do?

I pass here.

No need to take a grab-bag of junk for a potential top5 RB in the future.

Agreed, you need WR depth, but I don't think holmes or agonzo is the answer. you have potential breakout candidates in henry, hixon, walker, and hester.

Someone should step there.

I think I would have to pass on this one, I like Moreno's potential much more than the wr's, and I actually think that Bay and Britt won't be all that good, but most wr's take a few years to start playing well. Moreno will have every chance to step in and produce from day one. I'd hold on to him. Good luck.

No way I would do this trade. Moreno has top ten, maybe even top five talent for the future. Pass this up in a heart beat.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

Thanks for the help on mine.

Yeah I agree, I wouldn't give up Moreno for that, If you are going to do that I'd go for a much better class of receiver. Though I think Holmes and Gonzo are solid WR2's that could help you I still don't think I'd give up Moreno.
