Would you take Westbrook for S. Smith, A. Johnson, or Wayne?

If you had the following keeper roster below before a draft, would you trade one of the WRs for Westbrook?

Peyton Manning
Steve Smith
Andre Johnson
Reggie Wayne
Steve Slaton
Thomas Jones
Matt Ryan

Basically 3 elite top 10 WRs and and two No. 2 RBs, one of which is disgruntled and will most likely be losing time in a RBBC situation! I want to find an heir apparent for T.O. after he melts down in Buffalo, so I want to move a RB for a No. 1 WR. My roster is:

Gore
Westbrook
Pierre Thomas
Kevin Smith
T.O.
Roddy White
DeSean Jackson

I also picked up LeSean McCoy as a rookie in this year’s draft (I can only retain him as a rookie for next year if I don’t start him during this regular season). I was thinking that I would let him take his pick at WR for who he wants to give up, and if he likes Westbrook enough, I can give him McCoy in a trade for Glen Coffee (his newly drafted rookie). I know Westbrook could have only 1 or 2 more good seasons, but he beats the hell out of Thomas Jones or Slaton if he’s healthy and productive! Given the stature of his 3 WRs I’d take any one of them in trade. I’d prefer Andre Johnson, but he’s the youngest of the bunch and for that reason I probably wouldn’t let him go either.

So what do you think, if you had Slaton and Jones would you make this trade?

The best RBs available in the redraft right now are Ryan Grant, Derrick Ward, Ronnie Brown, Lendale White, Ernest Graham and some lesser RBs who are really going to be change of pace backs. I figure at his draft position he’d be hoping for White or Graham to be there.

You won't get AJ for Westy. There is a chance you could get Wayne or Smith. I would do it, I just have no faith in Westy staying healthy.

Given Smith's shoulder injury I'm kind of thinking about proposing a trade to him with Westbrook & McCoy for Smith & Coffee. There's a risk that Smith's injury be lingering this season too, so maybe that will prompt him to unload Smith.

Anyone else have some thoughts on this? WHIR

I would do it for Johnson or Smith but not Wayne. U should try to draft Ryan Grant he is better than Thomas Jones. Westbrook is too injury prone to deal with for me.

Well, ideally, you'd want to try to get Andre Johnson for Westbrook. But that may not happen. I'd offer up a trade for that, and see what he says. If not, work with him to try to get Smith. But if you can't get either one, you don't trade.
