So I have the 12th and 13th picks in a 12 team league that is TD heavy in terms of scoring. 6 points for all TD's and a few bonus points for length of TD and going over benchmarks (2 extra points for over 100 yards rushing and receiving). I'm in perfect position to grab either Randy Moss or Larry Fitzgerald and will probably take one of those guys (dare I take both??). I'm hoping Brady, Brees, or Peyton fall to me but expect all of them to be gone. I think I'll probably have to choose between the likes of Slaton, S-Jax, Westbrook (ugh), and Brandon Jacobs. I would much rather take two stud receivers then a lesser back in the first round but also think there is great value for receivers later in the draft. Any thoughts on what I should do? How would you rate Slaton, S-Jax Westy, and Jacobs in a TD heavy format? Thanks!

I'd say grab either Fitz or Moss with confidence with one of those picks. Elite WRs are typically a lot safer bets than top RBs. Having one of those two (or AJ) is a great way to build a solid foundation for your team.

With your other pick, I'd take a RB. Sure in a 6 pt/passing TD league, QBs are going to score a lot of points, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're coming at better value than a RB at that stage. Position scarcity is huge for RBs, as is the dropoff in production after the studs are gone. Very seldom does bypassing a top RB work out well for you in the end...it can be done, but it's difficult. If S-Jax is there when you pick take him. In a TD heavy format, Jacobs would be my next choice.
