Swap picks? WHIR

Postby da bears » Sat Aug 15, 2009 4:36 pm

10 team one keeper league who is your first round pick .5 ppr and we start 2 rb's 3 wr's 1 qb and 1 te. Currently own the 10th/11th pick in the draft and the guy who has the 1st pick wants to swap his first and second for mine. Not positive on who others keepers are yet but I assume it will be Turner, S Smith, P Manning, R Wayne, L Fitz, MJD, A Peterson, Forte, Andre Johnson, and Calvin Johnson(my guy). I'm not sure if a guy like Slaton will drop to me which would be ideal but if I got the 1st pick I could definitely grab a great RB to start but would really hurt my WR2. Any thoughts would be appreciated, leave a link and I will definitely get back to you

You already have a pretty good WR 1 in Johnson. By switching your pick you guarantee getting a top RB such as DeAngelo, Steven Jackson, Gore or Portis...not sure what else is going to be there by the 10th pick.

I think I'm looking at possibly Slaton, Portis, Jacobs with the 10th pick but if I trade for the 1st pick then I can grab DeAngelo, LT, S Jackson, Chris Johnson, or Moss. Basically would give me a great 1-2 punch with Calvin and one of these guys I am just not sure if moving up is worth it for one of these guys.

Thanks for the help

I would look at Slaton or Moss. Having Megatron and Moss would be great. But Slaton catches a lot of balls

Well you technically have the 20th and 21st pick of the draft with everyone keeping 1 player. So to me the odds of a top rb still being available at your picks goes down greatly. Check out this site also, it may help with deciding which pick are better for you, oh and check out my question also.

thanks for the help...

I would make that trade...at the end of the 2nd round you can get a good reciever like boldin, jennings or colston
