Weirdest Draft Picks You've Seen This Year

Pitt DEF 2.01 in at 10 team Yahoo league. Same guy grabbed Stephen G. K NE in the 4th.

thats just dumb... period, not Weird picks, dumb picks...

Tony Romo at 1.05 in a 16 team league. Slightly baffling as this league is supposed to be FF veterans.

That's the 1st one that came to my mind. Still & over that one.

There's one guy making weird picks in the Cafe vs. FleaFlicker League we're doing the draft of now...alot of his picks are just pure headscratchers. It's a 16 team league and here are some of the picks he made:

1.05 - Tony Romo (2nd QB off the board)
3.05 - Roy Williams (ahead of Roddy White, Brandon Marshall, Wes Welker, Housh, TO, etc)
4.12 - Darren Sproles
7.05 - Kevin Boss (Zach Miller, Chris Cooley, Kellen Winslow and others still on the board)
9.05 - Brady Quinn
10.12 - Mewelde Moore

The guy that Matt posted about is the same guy bungle mentioned.

I signed up for a yahoo public draft that drafted tuesday

the 2nd overall pick in the first round was Ahmad Bradshaw

Then at about round 5 or 6 I was looking at the teams rosters and realized that another team picked the following:
Round 1 Brees
Round 2 Peyton
Round 3 Aaron Rodgers
Round 4 Rivers
Round 5 McNabb

Then I signed up for another yahoo league that drafted tonight and somone drafted Tony Romo 3rd overall and Westbrook 4th overall. MJD fell to me at 5 so i cant complain.

Steve Slaton number 1 overall in a 10 team PPR League.

What baffled me on this pick was that the guy who made it considers himself a fantasy football expert. I think Slaton is a decent back and could have a great year, but in a 10 team PPR League Slaton would have probably been there in the late 2nd or early 3rd since receivers and a couple QBs will probably get drafted in the first two rounds.

So we had our draft last night. 12 teams this guy had 9th pick. I understand the existence of homerism but some of these picks are just awful. Kevin Faulk in 2nd round with the 16th overall pick??? Adam Vinateiri with the 57th overall pick?? My fav is Tyson DeVree with the 88th pick. Just Awful!
