10 team non-PPR

Postby cowbell » Mon Aug 17, 2009 11:48 am

start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/DST/K
standard rules with 4 points for passing TDs

QB - Carson Palmer, David Garrard
RB - Frank Gore, Clinton Portis, Julius Jones, Jonathan Stewart, Thomas Jones
WR - Marques Colston, Vincent Jackson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Kevin Walter, Patrick Crayton
TE - Tony Gonzalez
K - Neil Rackers
DST - San Diego

I'm worried about my WR depth but I figure if Walter doesn't live up to my expectations I can pick some quick riser up off waivers. Thoughts?

Your team doesn't knock my socks off but you are very solid at every position. Really like your starting RBs, your starting WRs aren't great but they are very solid players. My guess is that your team will be one of those teams who never scores a TON of points but never has a terrible weak either. Really like Tony G. Your RB depth could get you some trade talk a few weeks in.

The team seems alright for a 10 man. I like your RB depth alot, but overall, nothing really jumps out at me. I might try packaging Housh/Jones for someone like a bigtime WR, because VJax almost seems like a topend WR3 to me in a 10 man. I would have also preferred a slightly better backup to Palmer, but Garrard is fine. Good luck!
