Postby mixmasterob » Tue Aug 18, 2009 2:18 pm

We start 2 QBs. 10 team league. I have Romo and Pennington, should I add Favre off waivers?

i did, and in your situation i also would. Pennington isnt isnt as good as favre. And with berrian, havin and Vinsanthe shianco i think he'll do really well this year.

Add him up dude.

I normally wouldn't bother but since you are already carrying pennington I might give it some thought. If you do it use him only in a emergency/ very favorable matchup. His ints will kill your team. He will only get worse not better. Are you carrying 3 qbs on your roster being that you are starting 2? I would also think that holding on to that #1 waiver spot might come in handy later.

Good luck with your team.
Here is a cool game I found.

As a back-up, why not. Favre has a big upside, but always is a very injury prone and risky pick-up.

Just remember playing on a run first team and not from behind so much.

probably hit 20 tds or so though, Never played in a 2 QB league but looks legit.

I do agree that he is a risky pick-up because of his interceptions, but your comment about being injury prone? Ummm...he is at 269 consecutive starts... Just had to comment on that.

a ton of good info and insight here...viewtopic.php?t=439028

i personally think that Favre is well worth it, and unlike most haters of Favre i don't think he will go for 4000 with 30, but i think an improvement of last years numbers is definitely instore for him this year. im a big phins fan and watching pennington is hard to do at times, i would add Favre and play the better matchup as my QB2 with Romo week to week, but i think Favre is well worth it... i have more insight on Favre in the link i posted, too much to post here check it out tho...

help me out... 1st post on the 2nd page...
