Ronnie Brown/Calvin Johnson or Slaton/Houshmandzadeh?

I like taking a proven stud like CJ in a situation he's comfy in + Ronnie Brown over Slaton/Housh.

Slaton was great last year... but he was also a draft steal. I'm not so sure how he pans out picking him late in the 1st/early 2nd round. Same feelings with Chris Johnson. They COULD be huge this year... but it's a slight risk as a very early pick.

With Ronnie you pretty much know what you'll get. He has the potential to be a top 5 RB, but his schedule is rough so temper expectations and just figure he'll be a top 10. Houshs' success came from a lot of double coverage on 85 last year. This year he's the #1 in SEA and who knows how things will work out for him there. Two unknowns don't exactly excite me in the first 4 rounds of a draft. I want proven commodities, along w/ high ceilings.

Brown/Calvin will most likely net more points together than Slaton/Housh imo.

Just read that Walter Jones is going to need more surgery on his knee and will be out even longer. So with this it impacts there running game and the passing game by taking out a perennial pro bowl left tackle. To me this brings down Hasselbeck, TJ, J. Jones values for this season. This will hurt there whole offensive line, which hurts the skill guys.

thanks for the injury update...that is huge....but I'm not sure why everyone is all over Calvin's marbles....doesn't he have to have a QB to get him the ball first

I'll go with Calvin Johnson and R. Brown. I like slaton but not too sure about Housh.
