So once u draft jennings in the 2nd...

And you think GB is gonna air it out...

Is it a reach to draft A Rodgers in the 3rd? I know it is a reach from a normal ADP. But I think it could be a lethal combination. Especially if you are drafting late in the 4th and you do not think he is going to be there?
thx

What are your league settings?

Drafting Jennings in the 2nd is a stretch.... and moreso grabbing Rodgers in the 3rd! Unless you start 2 QB's or something.

I feel that Rogers is slightly overvalued this year. Last year he was airing it out like crazy b/c Grant was hindered w/ his hammy. He also ran in a good number of TD's and I think it's unlikely he'll do it as much again. I think a good spot for Rodgers is in the early 5th round.

Just giving my opinion here. Always go w/ your gut... if you feel they're gonna be a powerhouse combo this year, pick em both up. But never overvalue players b/c it will lose you the league. I also never suggest drafting guys just because you're a fan of theirs or love the team.

Best of luck!

It's tempting to go for both, but it's pretty rare for that to be a good idea (Manning/Harrison before, Brady/Moss in '07). I think it's risky to tie your hopes too much to a team that frankly wasn't very good last year.

Sometimes making a combo is great ( I won a Super Bowl with Romo and T.O.), but if they're performing badly then it can be terrible. Especially if you stake the strength of your team on that. Last year Romo was injured and TO was being TO, so I didn't get nearly the production I was accustomed to out of them. In fact, I decided not to keep Romo (he tanks EVERY December, I won the super bowl with Tyler Thigpen as QB actually!), and I'm pretty doubtful about keeping him next year. While it's really tempting, I would say avoid it IMHO. If you do try for this strategy, then don't draft Rogers that early! Make sure you get at least 1 or 2 RBS and Jennings before you take him.
