Pick 2 keepers

Postby ob187 » Thu Aug 20, 2009 4:01 am

I'm in a 12 team keeper league and we get to keep two keepers from last year, but have to use the draft pick slot to keep them.

I have the 8th pick the in draft and my 1st keeper will be MJD so I won't have a 1st round pick (using it to keep MJD).

For my 2nd keeper should I keep:

Boldin (and would use my 2nd round draft pick to keep him)

or

keep my 2nd round pick and keep VJax (and would use my 11th round draft pick to keep him)

What do you think?

Although I hate Vincent Jackson. Using as an 11th round keeper on him is sweet. Some people have him ranked inside the top 15. Dumb. But thats what these site believe. Others have him firmly inside 25 and before the 20thwr. I have him outside my top 30. Using an 11 rounder for him...doesn't hurt you at all should he flop.

Who else can you keep?

Nonppr?

Or are you forced to pick 2 keepers at different positions?

Keeping Boldin at 2.5 isn't very good value. His ADP is in the late 2nd. Early 3rd. Or mid 3rd in some league.

Also consider who you may pick up in round 2 after the holds.

i'd hang on to your second rounder and hope that you can secure some comparable WR talent to boldin while getting a great price on vjax (who i also think is going to be a severe disappointment this year, but you can't argue with the value.)
