Offer on the Table----WHIR!!!

Postby brotherjake70 » Thu Aug 20, 2009 11:47 am

I am in a standard yahoo league and currently have an offer on the table for Fitz. It would be:

I give - Fitz
I get - Frank Gore, Santana Moss

My Team is:

QB -Philip Rivers
WR -Larry Fitzgerald
WR - Lee Evans
WR - DeSean Jackson
RB - Marion Barber
RB - Ray Rice
TE - Tony Gonzalez
W/R - Derrick Mason
K – David Akers
DEF - Philadelphia

BN - Ahmad Bradshaw (RB)
BN - Ricky Williams (RB)
BN - Josh Morgan (WR)
BN - Chad Pennington (QB)
BN - Mark Bradley (WR)
BN - Brent Celek (TE)

What do you guys think? He also has Chris Johnson and Brandon Marshall. I am thinking of either countering with Marshall/Gore or Marshall/Johnson or Johnson/Moss.

Please post a link of your questions and I will help in return.

While it hurts you WR strength, I think you have to do this. Do you want to go the season with Barber and Rice as your RBs? Gore is a HUGE upgrade. Losing Fitz sucks though.

Moss is trash. He is the same as Derrick Mason in a redskins jersey.

Barber and Rice could turn out to be a nice rb duo. Continue using a wr in your flex...hoping bradshaw may start through injuries...he will be an instant hit.

Losing Fitz will hurt you bad. Doesn't matter if you have roddy white.

You could get a lot more for Fitz.Gore is nice...but your wr core would be weak.

Dont pull the trigger. U can get more. Try for Marshall and Gore, Marshall is a good buy low candidate at the moment. I dont think u can get Johnson. And i would be starting Bradshaw over Mason at your flex.

I would never pull the trigger on this deal. Fitz is a solid #1 WR...Gore is a low end #1 RB but would be a nice improvement to what you have. Moss, just forget him as you get nothing with him. So it really comes down to do you trade Fitz for Gore and the answer is no!

Only way I would make this trade is with Gore they gave me a mid/low #2 WR to go with Gore. That probably wouldn't happen so I would watch the waivers closely throughout the year snagging any RB with giant upside and hope you can catapult through the playoffs.
